Autumn is my favorite time of year to be hiking out in the woods. The trees are gorgeous......
The air is crisp and I like the sound of the leaves as they crunch beneath our feet.....
Sometimes we'll get a whiff of smoke, or see geese flying over head, or deer foraging for acorns....
We often hike with family.....
Or hike while we geocache.....
And sometimes we just hike alone....
Now doesn't that just make you want to throw on your hiking boots and go for a walk in the woods??
The week long celebration over at The Outdoor Blogger Network is almost over. I can't wait to see what they do for their 2nd year!

ReplyDeleteYes, yes it does.
There's nothing like a good hike with lots of fresh air and beautiful surroundings! I just discovered your lovely blog & will be pooping back for some more inspiration!

Hi Melissah: Thanks so much for stopping by. Come back again soon!
ReplyDeleteFor a minute there, just by looking through the first few pictures and seeing Chablis with those bolt cutters and looking all criminal like in the shades, I thought it was going to be a post of how she busted your mom and dad out of the "joint".
ReplyDeleteYou know your in for some "hard core" geocaching when you lug those puppies along, lol!
Great stuff! You're consistently great.
Thanks for sharing!
Of course, your photos make me want to hike in the woods. When I step outside and look at slipping and sliding and the prospect of a big moose, I go back inside. What a beautiful place you call home.
ReplyDeleteI sooo miss the Autumn colours this time of the year! The olive and almond and pine trees just refuse to change colours... *sigh*
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! :o)
You make hiking look like childs play! I haven't been in the woods for years. Love the color on the tree in the 1st pic!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful area Kim and I love it that your mom and dad are holding hands here too. :) I really need to get my buns out to our trails.
