We've been having fun making things with old pallets and my newest favorite thing is to make signs. Here's 3 we just made. The Shell Lady sign was for my friend Cheri who blogs over at Shell Lady. She is a shelling treasure hunter. She finds the most amazing shells. Check out her blog and I guarantee you will be jealous of the beauties that she finds.
I should get my eyes checked. I thought these were painted on the deck or something. Then I saw the signs were actually smaller and had wires for hanging. Oh boy.
ReplyDeleteAny way what a pretty color. It just screams beach, sun, sand and surf.
Lori, I think you hit on a great idea there - that would be FAB for a wooden deck.
DeleteNice job!
ReplyDeleteThanks Diane!
DeleteThese are very neat! What a great project my friend....we all love signs! Enjoy your Sunday! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThanks you - you have a nice day too!!
DeleteClose my eyes, and I'm there ... surf n' sand! These ARE a great project, and I'm guessing inexpensive?
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful day, Kim! :)
VERY inexpensive - I pick up pallets where I find them. :-)
DeleteEnjoy the rest of your weekend sweetie!
What a GREAT idea!! Thanks again for mine Kim!! I CAN'T wait to take it "home"!!
ReplyDeleteThanks also for the 'advertisement', though it seems like an eternity since we have been able to go after some of those treasures!! Guess I will have to stick to making shell crafts and pics from here on the blog for now!! :/ Thanks Again....SO Much!!

I miss your posts - you need to get back there as soon as you can. I know you're busy with other stuff right now. When you hang the sign I want to see a picture of where you decided to put it.

Hi Kim! Your signs look wonderful! You're going to take turns making these cute signs and caching! :) Glad you like my little dolls.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,Shelia ;0
Thanks Shelia. I know, it's a toss up where I want to spend my time. Maybe geocache when the sun is out and make signs when it rains?? xo
