When geocaching you have to be stealthy, sneaky, unobtrusive. Blend into the background so to speak. Remember, searching for geocaches is like a big old secret treasure hunt.
Here's me being stealthy in a park. A woman and her kids were playing on the playground equipment nearby.....
As soon as they started to walk away, Louie shoved me up to grab the cache.
Hee, hee...... Be sure to read my other being stealthy caching post here.
Apparently you need to be sneaky, stealthy, unobtrusive, very very clever, and thin enough for someone to lift, lol. You look fabulous, dah. .ling.
ReplyDeleteLOL-you crack me up! Thanks Gail.
DeleteMaybe you should apply to the CIA!
ReplyDeleteLOL. Do you think they'd let me geocache on the side?
DeleteYou look very cute standing there! And I agree with the other comments...thin enough to lift up. HAVE FUN this weekend! Sweet hugs
ReplyDeleteOh, thanks Diane. We're being stealthy this weekend.
DeleteBoy they hide geocaches everywhere. I would've never thought to look in the top of a pole. A cute, funny story!
ReplyDeleteOh you'd be amazed where they hide them.
Deletelol! That's a good one! Impossible to be stealthy when actually collecting the cache though! :p
ReplyDeleteI got some good practice this summer at being stealthy... and I discovered it involved A LOT of waiting around looking all innocent! Have a book helps pass the time and makes you look even more innocuous... ;o)
Oh, a book is a great idea!
DeleteIt's particularly useful when you're in some kind of public place waiting for the muggles to leave! That way you don't look like some weird stalker person, and it helps you pass the time! Plus I'm always on the lookout for more reading time! :p
DeleteYou just can't walk away and not get the cache so the stealth factor suffers when I'm out there. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm stubborn and I hate to leave without a cache.
