Most of all, she likes to get out of the house and have a good time.  My buddy Big AL over at CacheCrazy gifted her with a very special present this year for her birthday - one of his gorgeous, hand made signature items....

Code White

Woo-hoo - it's snowing, which we call a "Code White"  around here.  Excuse me while I go do a few cartwheels and dance with Snoopy!

If you're wondering why I'm so happy, it's because we plow snow for a living, and so far this winter, there has been no money made over here.  So it can snow all it wants from now until spring - no complaints from me.

We'll be pretty busy for the next 24 hours, so I'll just leave you with this....

A Blizzard in July

No, not really but we did have a blizzard here just about 6 months ago.  On Feb. 4th of this year we had a blizzard that resulted in 21" of snow.  And then there were the drifts that were 15 - 20 ft. high in places. Since we've been in the middle of this unrelenting heat wave I thought it would be fun to pull up the blizzard pictures.  Back then we were dreaming about the heat of summer while we spent hour upon hour in the trucks plowing.

This was our driveway and it took about 3 hours just to dig out around my car...

And it was springtime before we got back to our shed....

Chablis and Abby were having a good time tho....

Back then we couldn't wait for summer.  Right about now I'd like to take a dive into that snow pile.  How come we always want what we haven't got??
