I love lilacs..... and butterflies. The heavenly scent of lilacs just shouts spring to me. They bloom so quickly and then fade fast too. We snip great bunches of them and put them in vases all over the house. By the next morning there is always a shower of tiny blossoms laying around the vase, on the counter or tabletop. But that's ok, we still enjoy them.
This cute little butterfly was flitting about and stayed long enough for us to snap a few quick photos.
