I wanted to share this picture with you. Maybe you remember this post from last May, when we had record breaking high water levels at Kentucky Lake.
Right now the water levels are still at winter pool and extremely low, so I went down and took a photo of the same dock and light pole so you could get the perspective. Water level right now....
Last year during the flood.....
That's insane how high/low one lake can get. Do you swim there?ReplyDelete
Yes, the kids and I do swim here. Altho our neighbor has a pool, and he lets us use it, so that's nice. My husband won't swim in the lake tho.ReplyDelete
Wow! You all need some rain to make up for the lack of snow. Many places didn't get their normal snow last winter and will be having a drought without ample rain.ReplyDelete
You can have some of our rain! We had 7.75 inches of rain in March. Ugh! I'm ready for some sunny skies.ReplyDelete
Ha, ha, I had to take a double take! That's pretty cool! Let's go fishing!ReplyDelete
Happy Easter Kim & I hope you have a lovely break!ReplyDelete

Thank you Melissa - and the same to you and your family as well.Delete
Can you imagine how much water that is to raise/lower the lake that high?! I'm sitting on the dock with your hubby as I'm not fond of water where you can't see what's swimming under you...ReplyDelete
You can come sit with us whenever you like Cathy! Happy Easter!Delete
Crazy! What's it look like when the water level is "normal"?ReplyDelete
Normal summer pool level is just below the pier decking.ReplyDelete
nice posting.. thanks for sharing.ReplyDelete
