We both liked the shape of it but neither of us cared for the colors..
I specifically remember him saying "I want to get it and have you re-do it."
We brought it home and it sat in the garage for less than 24 hours. He walked into the house and said he decided he wanted to re-do the cabinet. Ok. So he went to the store and got some paint, came home, locked himself in the garage and when he came out, this is what he had done....
I had a box of vintage hot and cold faucet handles sitting in my office. He came in and swiped a few to attach to the finished cabinet....
I like the way he did the two tone color. He put it up for sale on Craig's List. I hope it sells. He would be thrilled. I would be thrilled too. It would give him the incentive to go out and buy more stuff to re-do. I think it would be a good thing for him and heaven knows I love to go junking to look for more stuff.
