Guest Podcast at 1Meal1Workout

A couple of weeks ago I had Aaron from 1 Meal 1 Workout stop by and do a guest post for me.  He told us about his amazing 150 lb. weight loss.  You can read about it here if you missed it.

Last week, Aaron asked me to do a podcast for him, featuring geocaching and how it can benefit those looking to lose weight.  The podcast is available now and you can download it here and listen to our interview if you're interested.

Co-incidentally,  Heather from "The Ramblings of a Mad Pensioner" wrote a blog post the other day highlighting her foray into geocaching and how it's benefited her health and contributed to her weight loss since.  So you see, not only is geocaching fun, it's quite beneficial to your health as well.

Stop by both blogs and check them out.  I'd like to thank Aaron for inviting me to do the podcast.  It's the first one I've ever done and I really enjoyed it.

  4. I was thinking that all the hiking and climbing you do while geocaching must be a great workout. I bet you burn lots of calories! It's not something I want to do alone, so I thought I could at least ride my daughters bike for some exercise, and realized it had been stolen from right in front of the garage. Go figure! I'm ready to start really working out and the means of doing it are gone. I guess it's back to the ole xbox in front of the tv. I do have the pool though :D

  5. I would imagine all the exercise you must get hiking, and walking all over the place would benefit you as far as health would go. I need to get motivated! After I get home from working until 7 at night, then having supper, I don't feel much like doing anything except maybe some gardening. I like to take the kayak out...but that's not for a vigorous workout.
